Marcelo Daldoce
Marcelo Daldoce was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil in 1979. He discovered his passion for painting in the age of 16. In addition to his studies at Núcleo de Arte, Marcelo Daldoce worked in different design studios, ad agencies and at MACACOLÂNDIA, an illustration studio he co-founded with three friends.
In the year of 2010, he moved to Miami, Florida to fulfill his dream to live as a full-time artist. He was quickly recognized as a local artist and during his time as a resident artist at the Bakehouse Art Complex from 2011 to 2012, he developed his artistic skills and participated in several group exhibitions.
Today he lives and works in New York City. With his distinctive artworks, Marcelo Daldoce is bringing to life a flat surface such as paper and canvas. He creates puzzles between reality and illusions of what is painted and what is manipulated. You can find more of his artworks
