The Baule or Baoulé are an African people inhabiting Côte d’Ivoire (also known as the Ivory Coast) on the Gulf of Guinea. The Baule take advantage of the rich cotton grown in their region to produce the truly limited edition fabrics used in the Bryar Wolf Ivory Coast collection. While every Bryar Wolf item is distinctive and essentially, one of a kind, the word "unique" is especially accurate for this collection. The beautiful geographic patterns convey a subtle sense of motion and the results are downright mesmerizing. To be clear, no one pillow is exactly like another. The designs and sizes in the collection are made in production runs of ten pillows or fewer so when you add one of these works of art to your home living space, you can rest assured that you have one of very few produced. Each piece is hand-sewn and hand-dyed. The back of the pillow is made of linen.
