One of my favorite parts of the design process is at the end, when I get to search for the perfect chain to accompany a piece. A chain isn't only something for a pendant to hang on, it's the sidekick to the main character, the ghost-writer behind the novel, it's the distant landscape to the Mona Lisa! FLUX is a celebration of these quiet supports; these subtle elements that compliment the feeling and energy in every collection. In the FLUX collection, the chains are the stars. Amy Morrell is an Oakland, CA based jewelry designer, artist, teacher, and mother. Amy was raised in Southern California and moved to Oakland, in 1997 where she received her BFA at the California College of the Arts. Her fine art training informs an innate understanding of compositional space that is integral to her designs.​
