Originally from Chicago. Wound up in NYC by way of San Francisco. Been calling the Lower East Side home for almost 12 years. Several years ago I started traveling more for work and made a point to always have my camera with me. Finding stories spontaneously has produced some of my favorite shots, but I have been known to scout a location for days to find the perfect time, the perfect person, or the perfect scenario. Lately I’ve been on the hunt for more graphic, simple portraits of New York.
