Large artwork are comprised of multi-etched plates that are archivally attached to each other. All work-on-paper are copperplate etchings. Each work of art is an original, one-of-a-kind print, because the artist inks each copperplate differently for all print pulls. Colors and shades will slightly vary.

About the Artist

Mitsushige is a self-trained etching artist. Early travels in charge of European business for a Japanese industrial company, followed by postgraduate studies in graphic design in Arizona and working as a graphic designer in NYC, inform his singular, humorous images of Europe and the USA created back home in Tokyo.
