The image of Stephen's two boys on the farm evoked an image from my "Dry Documentaries" body of abstract photography. The particular piece, "Two of Us", has a similar color palette and a spectral presence of two human forms which I felt complimented Stephen's photograph. For the past couple of years I've been working on a series I've entitled "Doppelgängers" in which I've recalled representational photographs from my archives that pair with the abstract images from my "Dry Documentaries" series.
